Wayne VonAllmen

Graveside services for Wayne VonAllmen, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 10, 2017 at Oak Lawn Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

 

Mr. VonAllmen passed away at 10:27 a.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center.

 

He was born March 2, 1934, at Rover, Missouri, to Wade VonAllmen and Sula Bales VonAllmen.  Mr. VonAllmen graduated from Thomasville High School.  On October 15, 1952, he was married at Salem, Arkansas, to Betty Geneva McCracken, who preceded him in death on July 27, 2010.  Before his retirement, Mr. VonAllmen worked at DRS, formerly known as Southwest Truck Body.  He was a past member of the Saddle Club and civil defense.  Mr. VonAllmen was very active in church and held memberships at Faith Assembly of God and His Place.

 

He is survived by four children, Pamela Sue Jones and husband, Mark, Tipton, Oklahoma, Ronald Carl VonAllmen and wife, Leslie, Springfield, Missouri, Terri Elaine VonAllmen, West Plains and Douglas Paul VonAllmen, West Plains; ten grandchildren, Mark Allen Jones, Christopher Jones, Melissa VonAllmen Grendell, Nathan VonAllmen, Samantha VonAllmen, Eva McReynolds, Hanna VonAllmen, Justin Najdawi, Jene’ Najdawi and Victoria Lawrence; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.

 

His parents, wife, two sons, Mike and Kenny, one daughter, Brandi and one grandson, Bradley, precede him in death.
