Donald Gannon
Visitation services for Donald Ray Gannon, 73, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Gannon passed away at 10:15 a.m., Monday, June 19, 2017 at his home.
He was born June 6, 1944, at West Plains, Missouri, to Floyd Lester Gannon and Delma Lorraine McLellan Gannon. He graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1962. On March 26, 1964, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Shirley Bandy. Mr. Gannon worked as a supervisor for Williams Shoe Store for forty-three years. He and Shirley managed Williams Shoe Store and Shoeland in Chickasha, Oklahoma from 1968 to 1981, at which time they moved back to West Plains to the corporate office. He enjoyed gardening, flowers and woodworking. Mr. Gannon was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Gannon, of the family home; three daughters, Dena Pitchford and husband, Michael, Chickasha, Oklahoma, Cheryl
Amos and husband, Joe, Lebanon, Missouri and Tammy Campbell and husband, Terry, Fordland, Missouri; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one on the way; one brother, Jack R. Gannon and wife, Rosalyn, New Market, Maryland; one sister, Betty Huddleston, Rover, Missouri; and his beloved dog, Muffin.
His parents, one brother, one infant sister and one brother-in-law, precede him in death.
