Lena Fox

Graveside services for Lena Faye Fox, 85, Nixa, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Gospel Hill Cemetery, near Pottersville, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

 

Mrs.  Fox died 12:15 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Mercy, St. John’s Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.  She was born April 7, 1932 at Cureall, Missouri to Hiza Jack Williams and Esta Mable Lawing Williams.   On August 29, 1953, she was married at Filer, Idaho to Elvis Allen Fox.  Mrs. Fox enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

 

She is survived by her husband, Elvis Fox, of the family home; one son, Steve Fox, wife, Geneva, Ozark, Missouri; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lester Williams, Crider, Missouri and Jim Williams, wife, Verna, Tecumseh, Missouri; one sister, Lela Mawhiney, husband,, Ron, Nixa, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Her parents, one son, Stanley Charles Fox, one daughter, Bonnie Faye Fox, one sister, Noma Kimbrough and one brother, Billy Joe Williams, preceded her in death.

 

Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 16th, at the Gospel Hill Church of Christ.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Gospel Hill Cemetery and left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  On line condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com
