Henrietta Agnes Jackson

Graveside services for Henrietta Agnes Jackson, 90, Pomona, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at New Liberty Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

 

Mrs. Jackson passed away at 5:53 a.m., Monday, December 18, 2017 at her home.

 

She was born September 9, 1927, at Quinter, Kansas, to James M. Zerr and Martha Depperschmidt Zerr.  On November 27, 1943, she was married at Hoxie, Kansas, to Howard Wallace Jackson, who preceded her in death on September 12, 2004.  Mrs. Jackson owned a Dry Cleaning business in Colorado for a number of years, operated a dairy farm for thirty years and raised beef cattle.  The family moved from Colorado to the West Palins area in 1969 and continued raising cattle.  She enjoyed gardening and making quilts. Mrs. Jackson was a member of New Liberty Church for many years.

 

She is survived by three children, Marilyn Barnes, West Plains, Missouri, Lonnie Jackson and wife, Linda, Pomona, Missouri, and Randy Jackson and wife, Lynette, Pomona, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mona Zerr, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Laverda Faulkenburg, St. Petersburg, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Her parents, husband, daughter, Carolyn, great-granddaughter, Katrina, son-in-law, Gary Barnes, three brothers and two sisters, preceded her in death.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to New Liberty Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
