J.T. Wells

Funeral services for J. T. Wells, 82, Caulfield, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2018 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

 

Mr. Wells passed away at 12:05 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Ozarks Medical Center.

 

He was born April 20, 1935, at Mountain Home, Arkansas, to Billie Reed Wells and Flossie Mae Trivitt Wells.  On March 12, 1955, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Adele Harper, who preceded him in death on July 6, 2014.  Mr. Wells was a farmer and a heavy equipment operator.  He loved his children and grandchildren and enjoyed his horses and mules.  Mr. Wells was a member of Bakersfield Church of Christ.

 

He is survived by three children, Ronnie Wells and wife, Susan, West Plains, Missouri, Ronda Ledbetter and husband, Joe, West Plains, Missouri and Billy Wells and wife, Kellie; seven grandchildren, Dustin Ledbetter and wife, Brandi, Ashley Cotter and husband, Greg, John Wells, Kassi Dupler and husband, Bo, Gretchen Noon and husband, Jeff, Taylor Wells and Caleb Wells; eleven great-grandchildren, Adie, Layne, Ellie, Eli, Eden, Reece, Heidi, Libby, Remi, Avery and Haley; five sisters-in-law, Jackie Wells, Lenora Frazier, Sue Lair and husband, Jerry, Jeannie Morris and husband, Steve and Sharon Moore and husband, David; special friends, Betty Meeks and Verlene Halford; and many nieces and nephews.

 

His parents, wife, one brother, Truman Wells, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elsie and Ray Harper, three brothers-in-law, Ray Rhine, Glen Harper and Dallas Frazier and two sisters-in-law, Lois Harper and Kay Rhine, preceded him in death.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Fowler Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Fowler Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
