Jerry Ray McGoldrick

Graveside services for Jerry Ray McGoldrick, 69, Caulfield, Missouri, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

 

Mr. McGoldrick passed away peacefully at 6:02 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018 at his home.

 

He was born September 15, 1948, at West Plains, Missouri, to Joe Luther McGoldrick and Opal Marie Bennett McGoldrick.  Jerry graduated from West Plains High School with the Class of 1966.  He met Judy Ipock in West Plains and they were married November 20, 1970, at the Elijah Church of Christ.  He was blessed with one daughter, Julie, whom he loved dearly.  Mr. McGoldrick worked at the International Shoe Factory for ten years and was a mail carrier for over thirty years in the Caulfield area; he retired in 2010.  Traveling with Jerry was always an adventure; he loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, family get-togethers and playing golf with his friends.  Mr. McGoldrick was a strong member of Elijah Church of Christ and had a deep faith.

 

He is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years, Judy; one sister, Rosalee Carter and husband, Bill, Nashville, Tennessee; one brother, Bill McGoldrick and wife, Amy, Mountain Home, Arkansas; two brothers-in-law, Mike House, Caulfield, Missouri and Roy D. Ipock and wife, Debbie, West Plains, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Elaine Damon and husband, Clayton; and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

His parents, loving daughter, Julie Marie, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jasper and Maurine Ipock, two sisters, Sherry McGoldrick and Linda House and one brother-in-law, Andy Ipock, preceded him in death.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions may be made to Fair Haven Children’s Home and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
