William Cleon Bell

Graveside services for William Cleon Bell, 78, Willow Springs, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2018 at Eaton Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

 

Mr. Bell passed away at 10:40 p.m., Monday, April 30, 2018 at Willow Care Nursing Home.

 

He was born March 22, 1940, in Ozark County, Missouri, to Jesse Earl Bell and Myrtle Luzetta Parsley Bell.  Cleon attended Trail Hollow School.  On June 8, 1991, he was married in Taney County, Missouri, to Jo Ann Whitney.  Before his retirement he worked at DRS, formerly known as Southwest Truck Body, Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, Kissee Mills Mortuary for Dr. Hollis Smith and the sale barns in Ava, Alton, Thayer and West Plains and hauled feeder pigs.  Mr. Bell loved to hunt and fish.

 

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Bell; four children, Robert Bearden, David Bell and wife, Loretta, Linda Bell Ward and husband, Milton and Ron Bell; seven grandchildren, Wanda, Tabatha, Robert, Leslie, Maegan, Lacey and Steven; one brother, Leon Bell; two sisters, Leota Williams and Oleta Webb; and many nieces and nephews.

 

His parents, one grandchild, Kyla, one brother, Donald Bell and two sisters, Etta Jane Fowler and Deloris Jean House, preceded him in death.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Memorial contributions may be made to Eaton Cemetery and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
