Dakota Ellison

Funeral services for Dakota Conrad Ellison, 25, Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Bakersfield High School Gymnasium, Bakersfield, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

 

Mr. Ellison passed away at 6:37 p.m., Monday, May 7, 2018 at Baxter Regional Medical Center, Mountain Home, Arkansas.

 

He was born May 15, 1992, at West Plains, Missouri, to Dennis Sherman Ellison and Georgian Levine Ellison.  On June 20, 2015, he was married at Thayer, Missouri, to Shelby Belt.  Dakota worked at North Arkansas Fence & Patio Co.  He enjoyed basketball, hunting and being outdoors.  Mr. Ellison attended First Assembly of God Church, Bakersfield. 

 

He is survived by his wife, Shelby Ellison, of the family home; one daughter, Arianna Ellison, of the family home; his parents, Dennis Ellison and wife, Laura and Georgian Anderson and husband, Morris; two brothers, D. J. Ellison and wife, Britany, and their children, Hailee, Aubrey and Hoyt and Dustin Ellison and wife, Ashleigh, and their children, Brayli, Bowen and Boone; one sister, Shanna Dutchover and husband, Christopher, and their children, Madison, Mason and Cooper on the way; his maternal grandmother, Paula Ezell; two step-brothers, Johnnie Anderson and Freddie Barnett; two step-sisters, Valerie Magnuson and Victoria Barnett; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

His paternal grandparents, Sherman and Ruth Ellison and maternal grandfather, Gerald Levine, two aunts, Jennifer Robinson and Rosalee Burr, two uncles, Mexford Burr and James Kuk and one cousin, Joshua Lane, preceded him in death.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, in the Langston Street Chapel of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Baptist Hill Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
