Ronald Lester Collins

Graveside services for Ronald Lester Collins, 71, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 1, 2018 at Sweeton Pond Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Collins passed away at 6:35 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2018 at NHC Healthcare.

He was born October 4, 1946, at Gainesville, Missouri, to Lester Collins and Ethel Epley Collins.  On August 8, 1967, he was married at West Plains, Missouri, to Linda Sue Barnett.  Mr. Collins was a veteran, having served with the United States Army.  He was the owner and operator of RTN Small Engines.  He loved fishing and fast cars and enjoyed raising quail and pheasant.

He is survived by two children, Nathan Collins and wife, Teresa and Travis Collins and wife, Marla, all of West Plains; four grandchildren, Ashton Collins, Victoria Collins, Logan Maffei and Megan Maffei; one brother, Larry Collins and wife, Carolyn, Springfield, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Thelma Collins; and two nieces and one nephew, Amanda Collins, Terri Hall and Shane Coe.

His parents, one brother, Donald and one sister, Phyllis, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.   Memorial contributions may be made to Veterans Honor Guard of West Plains and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
