Richard Edward Behning
Graveside services for Richard Edward Behning, 74, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2018 at Howell Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mr. Behning passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.
He was born May 19, 1944, at Los Angeles, California, to Edward Behning and Charlotte Marie Behning. On October 7, 1981, he was married in the State of Texas, to Leta Lewis. Mr. Behning was a veteran, having served with the United States Army and the Army National Guard. Richard was a news enthusiast; he enjoyed keeping up with the news and current events. He also enjoyed sports and playing on the computer.
He is survived by his wife Leta Behning; four children, Wade Behning and wife, Shanae, Brent Behning, Kimberly Weicht and husband, Val and Todd Behning and wife, Joelle; five grandchildren, Joel, Garrett, Eliana, Emma and Jonathan; one brother, David Behning and significant other, Tara; one sister Eileen Lawson; and several nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.
