In memoriam of Kevin Dwayne Howell, 06/03/1982 – 03/14/2019

Kevin Dwayne Howell, of Eminence, passed away suddenly Thursday evening, March 14, 2019, at the age of 36. Kevin is preceded in death by his grandfather and grandmother, Walter and Thela Howell and grandfather and grandmother, Walker and Edith Heverns.

Kevin is survived by his father and mother, Mike & Norma Howell of Eminence, Missouri; one brother and sister-in-law, Travis & Jennifer Howell of West Plains, Missouri; and his two nephews, Jeremiah and Jordan. He is lovingly remembered by a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins. Kevin loved his family dearly and would do anything for them at a moment’s notice.

Kevin was born June 3, 1982, in West Plains, Missouri. He graduated from Eminence High School in 2000. Kevin then continued his education at Missouri State University-Springfield, where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Computer Information Systems/Business Administration.

Kevin’s passions in life were caring for his mother and father, as well as caring for and spending time with Earl, his beloved English bulldog, who also passed away with him. Kevin also enjoyed playing guitar and learning and playing with all things computers. Kevin will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 18, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. in Yarber Mortuary chapel, Eminence, Missouri.

The family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. prior to services, also at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Pilgrim’s Rest – Shannondale Cemetery, Salem, Missouri.
