Goldie Mae Bartley

Funeral services for Goldie Mae Bartley, 82, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 11, 2019 in the Rose Chapel at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bartley passed away at 9:07 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Cox Medical Center South, Springfield, Missouri.

She was born January 21, 1937, to Jesse Lawrence and Lillie Tabor Lawrence.  In 1953 she was married to Ray Edmon Belcher, who preceded her in death December 3, 1972.  On March 12, 1988, she was married at Dora, Missouri, to Robert Louis Bartley, who preceded her in death on June 3, 2003.  Before her retirement she worked at McQuay Norris, also known as Eaton and later known as Invensys.  Goldie enjoyed fishing, camping, crocheting, quilting and making clothing for babies.  Her family was an important part of her life.  Mrs. Bartley was a Christian.

She is survived by her companion, Pete Georgecopoules; four children, Mary Jo Hawkins and husband, Randy, West Plains, Missouri, Michael Pasco and wife, Pam, Toledo, Ohio, Loretta Collins and husband, Max, West Plains, Missouri and Debra Trott and husband, Norman, Mountain Home, Arkansas; fourteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husbands, one son, Steven Belcher, three brothers and three sisters, preceded her in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Family or The Kidney Foundation and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
