Vesta Pearl Harper

Funeral services for Vesta Pearl Harper, 86, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Endurance Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Harper passed away at 5:25 a.m., Friday, June 14, 2019 at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born August 3, 1932, at West Plains, Missouri, to Carl Courtney Bray and Lula Eldora Dotson-Porter Bray.  Vesta enjoyed gardening, going to yard sales and making hats.  She was a member of Endurance Church.

She is survived by five children, Verne Harper, Tyler, Texas, John Harper, Jr. and wife, Esther, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Garry Harper and wife, Julie, Mountain Home, Idaho, Mari Orr and husband, Charles, Chandler, Arizona and Marj Thompson and husband, Byron, Columbia, Missouri; the father of her children, J. D. Harper; twenty-four grandchildren, Shanda, Weston, Jeremy, JaHannah, Justin, Jennah, Jannessah, Sara, Olivia, Jimmy, Jason, Andria, Jared, Zack, Zane, Alexis, Tabitha, Nathan, Kayleen, Tom, Jacob, Zach, Allison and Madison; thirty great-grandchildren, Jude, Skyler, Aiden, Daffnie, Baron, Evie, Penny, Isabel, Alex, Carter, Kinsley, Layna, Thatcher, Colton, Caleb, Colby, Sadie, Tylane, Tyler, Cooper, Grant, Sloan, Camden, Addison, Grant, Gunner, Blaire, Hadley, Britney and Luke; and two brothers, Jim Bray and wife, Fran, West Plains, Missouri and Paul Dean Bray, Denver, Colorado.

Her parents, one grandson, Skyler Harper, six brothers, Leo, Raymond, Delmer, Hugh, Earl and Charles Bray and two sisters, Thelma Smith and Helen Bray, preceded her in death.

Mrs. Harper will lie in state from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Galloway Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Christos House and may be left at Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
