Dora Lorene Carrell

Graveside services for Dora Lorene Carrell, 87, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, South Fork, Missouri, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carrell passed away at 4:20 p.m., Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Ozarks Medical Center.

She was born December 26, 1932, at Lanton, Missouri, to Lenzie Otis Ellison and Bessie May Johnson Ellison.  In 1955, she was married at West Plains, to Arthur Edward Carrell, who preceded her in death on June 30, 1975.  Mrs. Carrell was a homemaker and cared for her children.  She loved gardening, her flowers and her little dogs that she had throughout the years.  Mrs. Carrell was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by one adopted daughter, Beverly Carbitcher and husband, Sonny; one daughter, Rebecca Carrell; one son, Ronnie Carrell; six grandchildren, Arthur Carrell, Cody Johnson, Valerie Johnson, Tiffany Perry, Brandon Collins and Lakita Harlin and one sister, Opal Ellison Turnbull and husband, Wayne; and many nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, one daughter, Beverly Hunt Cunningham, two sisters, Ann Ash and Bertha Albros and four brothers, Truman, Leslie Ora Eugene and Bob Ellison, preceded her in death.
