Hester Hesterlee Tidwell
Hester L. Tidwell, 99 years, 1 month, 12 days old, passed peacefully to Heaven on December 21, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Hester was born November 9, 1921 in Wasola, MO to James and Golda (Fletcher) McDaniel.
On November 13, 1940 Hester and Merle Hesterlee were united in marriage in Ozark County and to this union four children were born.
He preceded her in death. Later she married Raymond Tidwell and he also preceded in death.
Hester was a Farmer and Homemaker.
She was a Christian and attended the Oak Grove Church in Wasola for many years. She enjoyed her flowers, cooking for family and friends, and gardening. Hester loved her neighbors, her church family and her friends. Hester adored all her grand and great grandchildren!
Hester was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Merle and Raymond, her daughter, Shirley Lane, a son-in-law, Warren Snelling, 10 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her loving children Janice Snelling, Joyce and Alan Kaufman and Dexter and Becky Hesterlee, 12 grandchildren, Sherry, Melissa, Jana, Michael, Demme, Allisa, Darenda, Linda, Paul, Jerry, Terry, and Dustin, many great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, sisters, Pauline Boyd and Linda Welch, a special friend and caregiver, Carl Emrick, the Tidwell children and their families,
other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Hester will be at Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 10 A.M. in the Clinkingbeard Chapel, Ava, MO with burial following in the Franklin Grove Cemetery, Ozark County, MO. A Visitation will be Saturday prior to the service from 9:30 to service time. Officiating will be Pastor Robert Roberts.
