Lee Donald Vincent

Funeral services for Lee Donald Vincent, 83, West Plains, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at United Freewill Baptist Church, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Vincent passed away at 12:47 p.m., Monday, August 16, 2021, at his home.

He was born April 12, 1938, at Koshkonong, Missouri, to Archie Vincent and Ethel Deavers Vincent.  Lee graduated from Koshkonong High School.  On July 1, 1961, he was married at West Plains, to Barbara  Jones.  Mr. Vincent was a veteran, having served with the United States Air Force for four years and the Missouri National Guard for six years.  He worked as an inspector at Missouri Department of Transportation for thirty-eight years.  He was a family man; his grandkids were his number one priority and he had a major role in the upbringing of them.  He was very patriotic and flew a flag at his home every day to show support for his country.  Lee was an avid Cardinals fan and would talk about them to his favorite nurse at every visit.  He was a devoted Christian, father and husband; caring for his wife through sickness and health.  Mr. Vincent was a member of United Freewill Baptist Church for over thirty years.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Vincent; two children, Becky Wade and husband, David and Bruce Vincent and wife, Melanie, all of West Plains; two grandchildren, Brittany Maggard and husband, Brandon, Republic, Missouri and Clayton Vincent, West Plains; his latest blessing, one great-granddaughter, Becca Maggard; three brothers, Dale Vincent and wife, Ethel, Springfield, Missouri, Harry Vincent and wife, Marie, Ballwin, Missouri and Jerry Vincent and wife, Norma, Naples, Florida; two sisters, Shirley Wilt and husband, Richard, Green Valley, Arizona and Sue Harris, St. Charles, Missouri; one sister-in-law, Dee Vincent, Boonville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents, one brother, Joe Vincent and two brothers-in-law, Larry Jones and Randal Harris, preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, at United Freewill Baptist Church.  Burial will be in the Howell Memorial Park Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s or Ozarks  Healthcare Hospice and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775.
