Glenn Allen Young

A Celebration of Life service for Glenn Allen Young, 66, West Plains, Missouri, will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 11, 2022, at the Historic Post Office Event Center.

Glenn escaped drastic economic inflation and years of not paying taxes (I hope you’re not reading this IRS) on January 30, 2022.

He was world-renowned for his love of food and his passion for martial arts, along with anything you can shoot with, cut with, or blow up. As a comical display of his patience for all situations, Glenn often quoted that “he may be polish but he wasn’t rushin’” when someone (his children) would arrive fashionably late. Throughout his life Glenn made an honest living helping to rehabilitate others as a PTA. He was loved by many co-workers and friends alike. He was never a very sentimental man, but he would like everyone who may have owed him money or a whiskey to know, when their time comes, that he will likely be found at heaven’s local shooting range.

To his family: mother, Barbra Young; sisters, Grace Pruett Frick and Romona Wright; many beloved nieces and nephews; sons, Grant Young and Roman Young; daughter, Hannah Young (Gleason); grandchildren, Miyah Bridges, Jensen Davis, Gaston Young, August Gleason, Yuri Davis, Marcella Davis, and Willow Young; he leaves behind a heck of a lot of Backwoodsman magazines. They have no idea what to do with them.

Glenn is preceded in death by his right leg Achilles tendon, his father, Glendel Young, brother Frank Young, and son, Shane Young.

May he live on in our hearts forever guiding, forever patient, forever teaching.
