Raymond Kazen

Graveside services for Raymond Kazen, 84, Koshkonong, Missouri, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Howell Valley Cemetery, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.

Mr. Kazen passed away at 1:30 a.m., Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Ozarks Healthcare.

He was born March 25, 1937 at Chicago, Illinois, to Cornelius Kazen and Benita Terzenbach.  On June 2, 1957, he was married at Wauchula, Florida, to Mary Annette Wilkerson, who preceded him in death April 12, 1999.  On September 11, 1999, he was married at Salida, Colorado, to Linda Kay Russ.  Mr. Kazen was a veteran, having served in the United States Army.  He was a farmer, and he loved his cattle and western re-runs.  He enjoyed camping, hunting, and traveling, especially to the Great Smoky Mountains.  Mr. Kazen loved to preach and was a long-standing preacher for forty-seven years.  He was a member of State Line Church.

He is survived by his wife, Linda, of the family home; two children, Kevin Kazen and wife, Vickie, Ava, Missouri, and Anita Oaks and husband, Wem, Ozark, Missouri; five grandchildren, Katlyn Hall and husband, Roy, Jessica Nichols and husband, Branden, and Mattie Kazen, all of Jacksonville, Florida, and Liliana Oaks and Vanessa Oaks, both of Ozark, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Ryan Hall, Reed Hall, Casey Hall, and Ian Nichols; two sisters, Lorraine Gillespie and husband, John, and Juliane Hensley and husband, Jerry, all of Wauchula, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, first wife, Annette, and sister, Delorice Newgent, preceded him in death.

Burial will be at Howell Valley Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to State Line Church and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775.
