Joanne Mayo Cullins

Joanne Mayo Cullins 1935 – 2022.  On December 25, 2022, our beloved mother slipped the confines of her earthly vessel after a long battle.  All that knew her can attest to her joy of life, love of laughter, independence, southern sass and spunk.  She lived life with gusto with no apologies.  She will be missed.

She is survived by four daughters, Debbie Ford Stubbs (James Jackson), West Plains, Joanne Marie Curenton (Perry), State of Virginia, Patricia A. Nitsch, West Plains and Brenda Jean Zeitlin (Gary), State of New Jersey; granddaughter raised by her, Jennifer Lynn Ferrell (Drew); one sister, Patricia French, Charleston, South Carolina; six granddaughters; five grandsons; numerous great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Her parents, husband, Claude Cullins, two daughters, Linda Jean Dickie and Carla Jean Day and one sister, preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association for further research of COPD and may be left at or mailed to Robertson-Drago Funeral Home, 211 West Main, West Plains, MO  65775. Online condolences may be expressed at www.robertsondrago.com.
